Lepa Nyasha awakens in a space of pure white light. The landscape is featureless, even the hard white floor that you lie on. After a moment features in the room seem to take form from the whiteness. Crystalline walls appear as if emerging from a fog.

This is very strange. What was the last thing I remember? was this during the time we were in the huge underwater green house?

Dan (GM):

Yes, your last memory was a battle with a giant vine plant near the waterfall in the underwater greenhouse. The quadiped alien organic robots had stopped the battle by calming the vine monster. After the battle you found an older deceased vine monster, whose stumplike body held crystals which recorded the final memories of the Revwien (Bruce’s character’s species) crew.
After that battle you had tried to enter the waterfall, but were stopped by the brightly glowing stinging insects.

You all took a nap after that.

Then I must start feeling my way around. Can I touch the walls?

Dan (GM):

Yes, the walls seem like quartz, but not well defined, almost fog like. You can feel fissures in the walls that seem to suggest pathways.

You hear a voice. Or is it just a sensation?

“Lepa… this way”

It seems to come from a passageway ahead of you.

Dan (GM):

Lepa Nyasha dreams he is sitting in a cavern of white light with crystal-like walls, hearing someone calling his name. The voice seems to speak directly to his mind, but he gets a sense that it is pulling him down a passageway. There are other passageways leading away from the cavern, but he feels a distinct tug towards this one.

Jason (Lepa Nyasha):

Lepa is curious. He follows the voice. Does he sense the force?

Dan (GM):

It seems as if the very walls are resonant with the Force.

As you enter the passageway, the walls seem like smooth white crystal with angular refractions. However, you are unable to see your own reflection as you would expect. Instead, as you lean towards the walls they seem to increase in luminosity.

The pull continues to bring you in a specific direction. There are other branches to the tunnel, but at each turning you feel a pull guiding you into a specific direction.

Soon you come to another wider space. This room has the same crystalline feel that you have encountered through the whole dream. On the far side is a silvery shimmer along one facet of the wall. The pull guides you directly towards it. As you approach, you see a pale reflection of yourself approaching you from the other side of the wall.

Again you hear your name called. It clearly comes from your reflection in the wall.

Lepa attempts to reach out with his mind towards the voice.

Dan (GM):
You sense that there is life about you. It is all around you, not just in the image in front of you. It is a strong life force, but also somehow faint.

Lepa says, “Who are you?”

Dan (GM):“This one is a servant.”
“I am trapped in this place, and I need your help to be released.”

Jason (Lepa Nyasha):
“I have never been to this place. I was in an under water terrarium, and now I am here, where am I exactly? ”

Dan (GM):
“Exactly where you remember.”
“I speak to you through your dreams, as I am unable to reach you now in person.”

“I am a servant to the universe. In my life I have brought order and peace to this galaxy. My only master is the universe.”

Do I remember correctly that there were other crystals there?

Dan (GM):

Yes, there were several crystals in the husk of the long dead tree stump tentacle beasty. You sorted through them looking for a suitable lightsaber gem, but didn’t find any. Most of the crystals contained the memories of long dead Revwien force adepts.

Jason (Lepa Nyasha):

“How do I release you?”

Dan (GM):

“Simply open yourself to me, and I will be free.”

Jason (Lepa Nyasha):

“This is an act of faith that you ask of me. By opening myself to you, I risk myself and those that depend on me’

Dan (GM):

“And by doing so, you will save both yourself and your friends. Even now, I sense a dark power approaching you from outside this place. It grows near, and time is short before you will face a foe beyond your power. This is a being of such evil, that I shiver in fear for your fate.”

“I will remain with you sustained in this crystal. My body was destroyed eons ago. But I have knowledge one such as you will need. I will be able to speak with you when you have questions, and provide you guidance. I can be your teacher in the ways of the force.”

“My partner, and my apprentice.”

Jason (Lepa Nyasha):

“Tell me one thing first. What is the greatest strength of the force?”

Lepa bows to his reflection.

The reflection of yourself is growing stronger to your sight. It begins to approach the crystal wall in front of you, independent of your action.
As it gains proximity to the wall, you begin to see it’s features more clearly.

Although you assumed it was your own reflection, what you see now is the face of another Ithorian
It wears a dark cloak, covering a green robe. there is a lightsaber hanging from its belt.

The Ithorian places it’s hand against the crystal wall.
“Touch your hand to mine”

The Ithorian’s hand seizes your own in an iron grasp.

At this point you are still being held by the Sith Ithorian
A round ago you took the lightsaber from the Sith, but it caused it to fade from your hand and back into its own.
You started to sense the dark side once it grabbed your hand.
Now we are on the next round.
Remember this Sith tried a drain attack that failed in the round you used a force point.
You could feel some force sucking your life away from you, but it also felt like the force was being drained.
However you resisted the tide.

Something is happening behind the Sith as this round begins

It appears as a glowing red light in a shadow in the background.
the red light is centered high in the dark mass, like an eye
behind the shadow figure, there are some odd lights playing among the crystalline fractures of the room.

{In the real world, Pyul realizes that the figure with the lightsaber is Lepa Nyasha. Lepa is shaking and he doesn’t seem to be acting like himself. His eyes are strangely vacant and half-lidded like he is sleep walking. The lightsaber he holds is not the same as the one he acquired from Salwah Uehn.}

Dan (GM):

When you attempted to break free, you could feel the Sith struggling to maintain its grip.
It did not attempt to drain you or force the DarkSide on you this round.
So things did not get worse.
The image of the dark shadow is becoming more distinct in the background.

{In the real world, Lepa Nyasha raises the red lightsaber and begins to advance threateningly on Pyul Eunhasu.}

Dan (GM):

You actually have one force point left.

However behind the Dark shadow with the red eye, the patterns of light in the crystal structure are becoming somehow familiar
Yes, you are out of the Force. But…
The light in the crystalline patterns behind the red eyed shadow are resolving somehow.
And you hear a sound.
low, whistling, discordant.
music.
resolving into a sudden pattern of beautiful symmetry, then dissonance, but again beautiful despite the lack of order.
You feel The Force returning to you.
You now have another Force point. Two force points total.

{Pyul Eunhasu calls out to Lepa, “Lepa, are you okay? What are you doing?”. Lepa does not respond except to continue advancing on Pyul with the lightsaber ready.}

You are momentarily jarred by a minor impact, what was that?

{in the outer world Pyul just hit Lepa with a small rock to get his attention}.

Jason (Lepa Nyasha):

I yell with both mouths.

{In the real world, Lepa makes a moaning sound as he approaches Pyul ready to attack.}

Dan (GM):

You are still in the dream.

{Outside the dream Pyul yells at Lepa, “Lepa wake up!” But Lepa does not respond.}

You hear muffled noises.

{Pyul pokes at Lepa with a long tree branch, and Lepa swings the lightsaber in skillful arcs, slicing the branch into several pieces. Pyul backs away from Lepa.}

Somthing seems to happen from outside the dream, but you did not wake yet

The shadow behind your Sith opponent seems distracted. It becomes indistinct again, but you can tell its focus is now behind it.
the music you heard sounded very familiar

{In the real world, Lepa again attacks Pyul with the lightsaber. Pyul leaps back away from his attack.}

Dan (GM):

nope, this is not the music you heard from the chorus of the ancient Tyian Revwiens who once piloted this ship you are in.
This music was from another place.
you have a faint memory of a dark cavern with many tunnels branching out.
The warm light of a fire behind a tent flap carries several small shadows moving in a rhythm.
the discordant music is carried from several different musical instruments, each playing its own tune.
the instruments synchronize, and you hear a voice,
“Well done children, well done, you have it, hold that feeling, well done…”
You remember an old tall Otoolin woman wearing a richly woven shawl.
Her face is patient and at peace.
Her name is Salwah Uehn.

Your opponent is still trying to drain you. But seems also a bit focused elsewhere. You are not drained this round.

{In the real world, Lepa Nyasha presses his lightsaber attack against Pyul Eunhasu. Pyul dodges desperately, but realizes she may have a chance to make another action.}

The red-eyed shadow is searching the cracks in the wall behind it.

Lepa calls out, “Salwah Uehn help me!

Dan (GM):

The Red-eyed Shadow flares its gaze in your direction briefly, then intensifies its search of the cracks in the walls behind it.

{Lepa redoubles his attack, swinging the lightsaber with fluid ease and driving Pyul mercilessly. Pyul dives for the ground while dodging Lepa Nyasha’s attack, and comes up rolling, holding a fist sized rock.}

I will imagine that the Sith’s hand is made out of soft rubber as I try to escape. using a force point.

{At this point Pyul Eunhasu in the real world throws the rock at Lepa Nyasha.}

Dan (GM):

{In the real world, the rock thrown by Pyul Eunhasu strikes Lepa Nyasha in his right leg.}
You suddenly feel a sharp impact in your right leg.

The Sith’s hand warps like soft taffy. You stretch away and break free!

I call out the name Salwah Uehn

Dan (GM):

You stumble over your leg in a dark jungle shouting, “Salwah Uehn!”

And you are now awake.

Dan (GM):

You see Pyul Eunhasu standing in a fighting stance a few meters in front of you watching you warily.

You feel as if you have been exerting yourself.

A few feet away from you a glowing red lightsaber rests among some charred vegetation.

In your hand is a rough white crystal. Within its facets, you can still see the image of the Sith Ithorian. You still feel its pull drawing you inside, but you resist.

“Lepa, you were possessed!”

Jason (Lepa Nyasha):

“There is a Sith in this crystal!”

Eunsil (Pyul Eunhasu):

I strike Lepa’s wrist to knock the crystal out of his hand.

Dan (GM):

Pyul strikes at your hand before you can react, knocking the crystal to the jungle floor.

Eunsil (Pyul Eunhasu):

“Lepa, destroy the crystal with that lightsaber!”

Jason (Lepa Nyasha):

I don’t want to pick up the lightsaber, it probably has a Sith crystal in it. I don’t know what that would do.

“Pyul  you destroy it!”

Eunsil (Pyul Eunhasu):

I strike at the crystal with my vibroblade.

---

Dan (GM):

Pyul strikes the crystal with her family blade, and it shatters into thousands of brilliant shards.

Lepa no longer feels the pull of the Sith.

Epilogue

Lepa and Pyul each receive 5 character points. Force points are recovered. Lepa still has the Dark Side Point. Through his mental connection with the Sith Ithorian, this one time Lepa is also able to spend character points on skill acquisition in Lightsaber, Lightsaber Construction/Repair, and the Force Abilities Lightsaber Combat and Ithorian Force Bellow as if he had a teacher.

Pyul and Lepa are now surrounded by several crystal shards of many colors, some of which might be suitable for lightsaber gems.
